Marietta, in Cobb County Georgia is northwest of Atlanta. Because of it’s proximity to the city it is part of what is considered the Metro Atlanta Region.

About Marietta

Marietta is the County Seat of Cobb County. The Court House and Government buildings are located on the Eastern Side of the Historic Marietta Square.

It has it’s own School system, Public Works, Police and Fire Departments which serve the City of Marietta, however a larger portion of the Marietta is outside of the city limits and serviced by Cobb County School district and services.
