Have you ever heard of Pie Bar?
This wonderful hole in the wall is just a leisurely stroll off Marietta Square at 60 Powder Springs Street.
A couple of weeks ago I met a friend for a day of wandering around Marietta Square. As we were winding down and around we decided that a sweet treat would be a great way to conclude our afternoon, so we stopped in for coffee and pie at . . . you guessed it “PIE BAR”! I had heard about it and driven by several times, but it’s been quite some time since I have whiled away an afternoon shop-hopping with a friend, so I hadn’t made it there.
I will try not to wait so long until my next visit because the folks in the shop that day understand how to make their customers feel welcome and cared for. We wandered in a few minutes before closing time on that Sunday, but you wouldn’t have known it by the way they served, and assured us there was time for us to enjoy our pie and drinks before we needed to leave.
I had the most wonderful piece of pecan pie and my friend got a slice of the smoothest peanut butter pie I’ve ever tried. It was the perfect ending to a relaxing Sunday afternoon. I can’t wait to go back!

History
First Location opened in Woodstock in 2015, with the Marietta location opening after 5 successful years in Woodstock. They serve a variety of sweet and savory pies. In addition to pies and beverages, they also teach baking classes.
