With Baseball spring training delayed because of contract negotiations, I thought I’d spotlight 2 sweet souls that could help you pass the time until Baseball gets back to playing games.
Meet Bobby Cox & Freddy Freeman
These two have been around Mostly Mutts for a while, so finding them a home during Spring Training, or Baseball season would be wonderful!
Bobby Cox is 10 yr old Male Chihuahua
Here are some of her highlights:
- May do ok in time, in a house with other dogs, but currently a bit grumpy with fosters other dogs.
- Sweet, calm and friendly lap dog – Love snuggles
- He seems to trust women more than men in his foster home
- Energy Level 4-5
- Developing good potty habits
- Good Crate manners, developing leash manners, but may be a new concept.
- Learning Basic Commands, so far she has learned “sit”, “go outside” and his favorite “Wanna eat?”
- He would love a home with a welcoming lap, a comfy blanket, and a good bone or toy to chew
He is current on all the usual medical stuff, Spayed, chipped and vaccinated.

Freddy Freeman 7 yr old Terrier Mix
Here are some of her highlights:
- He has lost his hearing, so learning how to communicate with signals or other prompts would be an asset
- He is insecure with younger children, so teens or older would be best, and because of the hearing issue a one pet family might be best
- He is strong, happy and playful, so I will need home that will allow me to spend my energy in positive ways
- Energy Level 7-9
- Developing good potty habits
- Good Crate manners
- Learning Basic Commands, so far she has learned sit, stay, come, go to your place, drop it, and leave it, and I am learning not to jump on strangers
- He would love a home with an active life style, with lots of exercise, training and love
He is current on all the usual medical stuff, Spayed, chipped and vaccinated.
