It’s that time again! The weekend I’ve been waiting for since January when we started rehearsals for our Spring Concert. The date is set. The Music is just about perfect and the musicians are excited to be bringing some wonderful old favorites, and new tunes to our community.
With each passing year, I get a bit more excited to bring the next offering to our loyal patrons.
This year our Artistic Director and Conductor Dr. Paul Hill has done a wonderful job of selecting a wide range of music for the program. We have several pieces with Americana type themes, some Broadway, some Television themes and a few surprises too.
I hope you’ll come out and support local musicians and the wonderful experience of Live Orchestral Pops music!
The Marietta Pops orchestra was originally established as the Symphony On The Square, and has been a favorite local group since 2010. It has been my pleasure to perform with them since spring of 2014, playing Oboe and English Horn.
