Meet Doris! This sweet 1yr old mixed shepherd is excited to find a new furever home! She has been adopted a couple of times, but because of her energy level and great puppy skills, she’s not found the right home yet. She is currently helping with the inmate training program, so if you want to schedule a meet up, you will need to check with the Mostly Mutts team.
She is great with other dogs, but will chase cats. She is still young and while she does great with older kids, is not ready for toddlers; she’s learning manners, but still gets excited. Her energy level is 6-8 and will need regular exercise and stimulation to keep her well balanced.
She needs a home with lots of human contact, because boredom has lead to some distructive behavior in the past. She also may be dealing with some separation anxiety, so having the security of a busy household would be great.
She is current on all the usual medical stuff, Spayed, chipped and vaccinated.
